A middle-schooler, a bag of sugar, and a big idea.
When you're 11 years old, your options for world domination are sadly limited. Can't drive. Can't get a bank loan (thanks, Mom!). What you can do is ask for gift cards to craft stores and grocery items for your birthday, optimize your biz plan, and get ready to take over the world.
Most candy here at Terrific Candy is based on recipes from The Complete Photo Guide to Candy Making (thanks Aunt K!) or on recipes we've found online and tweaked until they passed our taste tests. We specialize in kid-safe candy recipes-- most of what we make can be prepared in the microwave, and it's safe for chefs from 7+. Check out our blog, because we're planning to share our favorite recipes this season.
Coming soon: Candy Camp
Join us for a fun morning of candy making, and have a batch or two to bring home for your very own candy sale.

Delicious chocolate carmels!
I love your blog and it has inspired me to do one of my own – I just have to work out what I would like to write about!
Your candy looks great! Maybe one day we could do a candy swap and mail each other some typical US/UK candy/sweets?
We could try and mail each other our home made candy, too – but I’m not sure if it would survive the long journey?!
Keep on blogging!
Love Freya.
